The Yankee Comandante: a story of love, revolution and betrayal.
I’m into magazines lately. Especially the New Yorker. During my long days at jury duty, I was enthralled with this article about William Alexander Morgan: an American who joined the Cuban revolution. He fought with the rebels, was tracked by J. Edgar Hoover, investigated by the US Army intelligence, CIA, the FBI, the Army and even the State department. He was mysterious, probably slightly crazy, but still lovable. I’m fascinated by Morgan and his tale. The article reads like a novella - It’s quite lengthy, but quite the page turner as well!
